# Zero-proof night out cost

Compare the cost of a night out on cocktails with the same night on zero-proof drinks, using the typical price per drink listed in this directory.

Use the tool on the [web page](https://soberbars.fyi/tools/zero-proof-night-cost). It works without JavaScript.

## How to use it

1. Enter drinks per night.
2. Enter your usual cocktail price.
3. Enter zero-proof drink price.
4. Enter nights out per month.
5. Read the result.

## How it works

The tool multiplies drinks per night by the price you give for each kind of drink, then scales the difference by nights per month.

When venues in the directory publish a typical zero-proof drink price, the median appears as a stat. Prices vary by city and venue, so treat the result as an estimate.

Zero-proof cocktails often cost close to a house cocktail; non-alcoholic beer and wine pours usually cost less. The comparison is drinks only, not food or cover charges.
